Quality Assurance

Grady is committed to ensuring the highest standards of compliance, from the moment materials arrive at our factory until installation is completed and throughout our aftercare period. We take pride in our ISO9001 accredited processes and systems, which are designed to ensure we fulfill our duties under CDM 2015 and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Our manufacturing process is highly automated, allowing Grady to produce doors with precise measurements for each space, as determined by our onsite surveyors. Progress of each door is computer-controlled, and each one leaves the Grady production facility fully furnished and painted to meet the specific needs of the designated housing unit. We implement a series of quality checks during the manufacturing process, which include:

• Confirmation of the correct input raw materials selection based on the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Dimensional and routing checks at the machining stage.
• Prior to final assembly, confirmation that the item color is correct, glazing is accurate if applicable, and the correct hardware/intumescent materials are fitted in accordance with the BOM and standard operating procedure for that fire door.
• Final inspection with a checklist confirming that the item has been produced in accordance with the bill of materials, approved operating procedures, and door plugs are fitted with the correct color plug based on the BM Trada Q Mark fire door plugging details.
